Private Investigation — Frequently Asked Questions

Question 1

Is everything I tell you strictly confidential?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every enquiry is treated as confidential. We operate under NDA where required, restrict internal access to the people directly assigned to your matter, and never share your details without written permission.

Question 2

How much will my investigation cost?

Accepted Answer

Cost depends on scope, duration, location and how many investigators are needed. After our free consultation you receive a written proposal with a fixed quotation and deliverables before anything begins. No hourly surprises.

Question 3

How long does an investigation take?

Accepted Answer

Simple status enquiries may resolve in days. Asset tracing and surveillance assignments typically run 2–6 weeks. Missing person cases vary widely. You receive an estimated timeline at the proposal stage and progress updates throughout.

Question 4

Can you investigate outside India?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We operate directly in India, the United States, Singapore and Ireland, and work with partner investigators in other jurisdictions where local law or logistics require it.

Question 5

Will your evidence hold up in court?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our reports are structured for legal and insurance use, with documented timelines, photographic and video evidence, and clear chain-of-custody notes. We regularly support matters proceeding in Indian courts.

Question 6

Do you need my personal information to start?

Accepted Answer

Only what is necessary to assess and plan the matter — typically the subject's name and last known location, plus the outcome you need. We will tell you exactly what is required and why during the consultation.

Question 7

Is private investigation legal in India?

Accepted Answer

Private investigation in India is legal when conducted within the law and without unlawful intrusion. Every assignment is assessed for legality before we accept it. We decline unlawful, harassing or privacy-invading work.
